June 2010:  BPI is pleased to announce that it has received a grant from the USDA SBIR Phase 2 program. The award for $400,000 will serve to optimize the use of the SPORL process for robust conversion of woody biomass to fermentable sugars through enzymatic hydrolysis for bioethanol production.
