September 2009:  BPI is pleased to announce that it has received a grant from the USDA SBIR Phase 1 program. The award for $80,000 will serve to optimize the use of the SPORL process for robust conversion of woody biomass to fermentable sugars through enzymatic hydrolysis for bioethanol production.
